Husband and wife had hit their children for several times

Their six children almost broke their bones in this bad treatment. This made the grandfather of the family to meddle in to help his grandchildren.

Husband and wife are living in Mashhad and are both addicted to drugs. It is many years that both of them are addicted, thus they sit together to enjoy the abuse of drugs.

While using drugs, they feel good, but as soon as they run out of drugs and money, they have nothing to do but teasing and hitting their kids, as a pass of time.

Due to these bad treatments the eldest daughter of the family got married and moved to Bojnoord province. She is 19 and she has tried her best to help her little sister to get out of that stressful and violent home.

The second daughter now lives with her sister and will get married in near future.

When the eldest daughter got married, younger siblings had no one to go to and no one took care of them. You could see this from their injured bodies and sad faces.

Mahsa is 10 years old. Her two younger brothers are 5 and 4 respectively.

Due to terrible situation of children, their grandfather stepped in and reported this to welfare organization, which led to conveyance of these two to welfare organization. Mahsa is now living with her grandfather.

This couple also have an infant. The infant suffered the same things as his/her siblings. Thus, the welfare organization took the infant and now he/she is taken care of in nursery.

To monitor the situation of this infant, the journalist group of Mizan sat down with our social activists, Miss Somayeh Amirkhani who is actively working hand in hand with Mehrafarin charity.

Considering the condition of this infant she adds: as long as the family had a terrible history in hitting and misbehaving their children, we were very worried about this new member of the family.

The social activist noted: since the parents were both addicted to drugs and they were jobless, we estimate that they will sell this infant very soon and will form a terrible future for him/her.

That is why we took necessary measurements and now the last member of the family is saved.

The situation of the grandfather of these children: He was not able to take care of them, so he asked welfare organization to take care of these three kids and he takes care of just one of them.
