With help and support of donors, Yaldaa celebration was held in Tehran and other cities

Yaldaa celebration was held in Tehran by help of Mehrafarin supporters. In Tehran, Youth Department did their best and made hundreds of children happy with this program. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing children smile, but among all, my attention was given to a disabled boy on wheel-chair.
He was born disabled and a few months ago he was badly hit by his father, Mehrafarin helped him and Welfare organization took care of him earlier due to physical abuse.
I ask myself: what is he doing here? He should be in Welfare organization now. I sat next to him. I could see bruises and wounds all over his body, showing how badly he was hit by his father. I as him: How are you doing? He says: I have backache. I ask him why but he didn’t say a word, so I ask his consoler.
Miss Makoohi says: due to demands of his mother, he was released from Welfare organization and went home but every now and then, his father hit him and his siblings.
I felt truly sorry and I asked his consoler to do her best to find a way to help him and his family get rid of this awful situation.
We are thankful that there is a building like Mehrafarin that gathered children together in a safe and happy environment and helped them spent few fun hours. Youth department did their best and when I see volunteers that are young and active and are doing such activities, I become sure that I can count on them.
In my idea, Mehrafarin is a holy name that comes down form sky and I am proud to serve as a soldier in this army, an army that serves innocent human beings, in dire need of help. You can also join us and help us get better and better.
A summary of Mehrafarin activities in Kermanshah:
· Delivering 25 kanexes from companies that will be installed tomorrow
· The process of making kanexes still goes on
· Welcome and accompany of helpers, doctors and volunteers that travelled to Kermanshah
· Supplying supportive packages and preparing celebrations to celebrate the longest night of year (Yaldaa) together in a fun way by activities such as reading Hafez poems , etc.
