Kanex* No. ۱ – To shelter the first families in cold nights

One week after horrible earthquake in west of Iran, hundreds of homeless and mourning families are living in tents while temperature is minus zero.

Weather is getting colder every day in Kermanshah and CEO of Mehrafarin along with the team of activists and consolers whom have gone there to help are worried for the situation of the children that live in tents in this cold weather.

Fatemeh Daneshvar explains the situation of residents: most of them have caught cold and the rest of them are at a high risk of illnesses related to cold weather and environmental pollution.

Hygienic problems are severe since there is no toilet or bathroom available in a lot of areas.

With the first raining, water and muds will enter tents, thus making it hard for children and residents to live in.

Right now, CEO of Mehrafarin considers installing kanexes for residents dealing with earthquake as te most important priority.

Families with infants or children younger than 10 years old are at a priority of living in kanexes. Based on Mehrafarin speculations, affording and installing each kanex with toilet/bathroom costs around five million tomans.

We are asking our dear supporters to help us afford kanexes for homeless families that now live in tents, considering the very cold weather.
