CEO of Mehrafarin mentioned: by actions taken, in coming days kanexes afforded by Mehrafarin will be sent to areas that experienced earthquake for a temporary shelter.

Due to public relations of Mehrafarin, after her three-day visit form Kermanshah, Fatemeh Daneshvar explained: in the recent days and by visiting villages I observed the problems of residents in person.

She considered the need of people in the area and mentioned: unfortunately, we can observe mismanagement of authorities in this crisis since this led to unfair and disorganized distribution of stuff and wasted a lot of the donated stuff, as well.

Daneshvar continued: after a few days passed from Kermanshah earthquake, there is still no proper management for correct distribution of stuff and there is still the need for tents and kanexes, as their primary need.

CEO of Mehrafarin charity explained: I wish that authorities in different organizations, considering the cold weather and raining season in above-mentioned areas, think and take proper measurements for a temporary shelter of residents.

She then talked about plans of Mehrafarin about offering services to people in earthquake and mentioned: in the recent days, stuff such as food, clothing, tent, heater and milk powder have been sent and the rest of them are stored in Kermanshah and it is planned to be distributed among residents in certain time routines.

Daneshvar added: so far collected money from people and charity donors is 6.927.680.30 IR Rials that 4.257.680.30 is in cash and 2.670.000.000 IR Rials (estimated) is non-cash (stuff).

Up to now from the collected money 3.756.140.000 IR Rials of it have been spent to afford basic necessary things such as tent, blanket, medication, hygienic products, milk powder, warm clothes and jackets for children aged less than 10 years old.

Let’s mention that non-cash stuff such as medication, tent, blanket, drinking water, baby diapers, sanitary napkins and baby bottles and etc. have been sent to Kermanshah and it still continues and it has been distributed among residents by social volunteers and native residents of the area. Rest of the collected money which is 509.540.030 IR Rials and the next coming donations will be spent to afford kanexes.

Based on public relations’ report, Fatemeh Danshvar had a three-day visit from different areas that experienced earthquake such as Sare Pole Zahab in Ozgole village, Salas Babajani, Quik and else areas.
